Description: Actual small-claims cases were settled by a retired California Superior Court judge in this syndicated smash, immortalized in the movie `Rain Man' (`10 minutes to Wapner'). Awards could amount to no more than $1500 in a vast range of cases involving, for example, damaged merchandise and ownership disputes. Plaintiffs and defendants were interviewed after the verdict for their reactions. In 1997, four years after the original series ended, an hourlong version premiered.
